The 20th-anniversary edition of Green Day’s American Idiot sold 12,000 copies on vinyl in the United States this week, bringing its total vinyl sales to 173,000. The RIAA certified the 2004 album six times platinum in 2013 for sales and streaming equivalent albums of over 6 million units.
